Candace is Senior Vice President, National Commercial Sales for Fidelity’s D.C. National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. She began her professional real estate career with Commonwealth Land Title as in-house counsel for the Washington, D.C. office, evaluating complex underwriting risks and conducting commercial closings. Candace has established and promulgated underwriting guidelines and supervised and negotiated title claims on behalf of the company. She is a licensed title insurance producer in the District of Columbia, Maryland & Virginia. Prior to taking on her current role in commercial sales, Candace was the D.C./Metro Maryland Agency Division Manager for CLTIC, acting as the company liaison for a network of several hundred title agents and attorneys. In this role, she was recognized as a member of the Company’s Achiever’s Circle.

Candace joined the D.C. NCS operation in 2007. Candace implements and supports sales strategies to generate business from new-to-company customers and to increase business from existing customers. Since 2009, Candace has been recognized annually as a Multi-Million Dollar Club company award recipient. Candace has been actively involved in the District of Columbia Land Title Association and the Maryland Land Title Association. She is a Past President and Education Chair of the MLTA and was appointed by former Governor Parris Glendening to the Maryland Affordable Housing Trust Board of Trustees. She was also appointed by Maryland’s Insurance Commissioner to serve on the Title Insurance Sub-Committee of the Property and Casualty Insurance Advisory Board.

I see my role as a client advocate providing professional and friendly customer service to every transaction, large or small. My overall objective is that our clients have the information and support needed to ensure that the transaction remains “on track and on time."


Candace is an active company member of ULI, Washington. She is a member of the ULI, Washington Advisory Committee. Candace is also a member of ULI, Washington, Women’s Leadership Initiative Steering Committee. In addition to ULI, she is a company member of CREW, DCBIA and NAIOP. In 2015-2016, Candace was appointed to the DCBIA’s Community Services Corporation Board. She served as Chairperson of CREW-D.C.’s Community Action Committee and was a member of CREW-D.C.’s Executive Committee 2009-2010. Candace was awarded a CREW Scholarship to represent CREW D.C. at the CREW 2009 National Conference, In 2010, she was honored with CREW D.C.’s Esprit de Corps Award. Candace was a 2014 Crew Deal Making Award Participant and in 2015 appointed to the CREW DC Nominating Committee for the 2016 CREW, D.C. Board of Directors. In 2016, Candace was appointed and served on the CREW Network Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee. In 2015-2016, she was appointed to the DCBIA’s Community Services Corporation Board. In 2017, Candace was honored as a Bisnow DC Woman of Influence.

Candace graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1980 and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland in 1983. She is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bar Associations.

Candace was born, raised and lives in Montgomery County, Maryland with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dogs. In her spare time, Candace likes to jog, walk, bike, and loves to travel.
